Bug? Project End Changing On Its Own [9.1.5]

Has anyone noticed the project end time changing on its own since 9.1.5? Am I just going crazy? I haven't been able to narrow anything down that might cause it but I've noticed it about 10 times now and I'm fairly certain I didn't change it manually.

I am running in 64 bit mode and it is a pretty simple session, only 11 tracks.

Been having this problem since Logic 4. Yup, it seems to move on its own from time to time. So AFAICT this is just an old bug (or weird behavior) that perhaps you're just noticing for the first time.

But one thing that'll move it is if you work with cycle mode on and you click/drag the bar ruler to quickly set up a cycle range. If you swipe past the song end it will move.

If a recording runs past the current project end marker, the end marker is automatically moved to the end of the recording.

The L9 Manual says:

As soon as Logic Pro reaches the project end point, it stops automatically, except when recording. In this situation, the project end point is automatically moved to the end of the recording.

I just did a little recording test and it seems if the SPL gets within 8 bars of the project end marker it automatically extends itself 16 bars--regardless of where the actual recording ends.

I set the project end marker to bar 10.

I started recording at bar 1 with a 1 bar count in.

When the SPL reached bar 2, the project end marker automatically moved to bar 26.

As the recording continued, when the SPL reached bar 18, the project end marker automatically moved to bar 42.

I stopped at bar 23 and the project end marker stayed at bar 42.

Same result whether recording audio or MIDI.

All that said, it does seem that I occasionally find it not where I left it--even when not recording--just playing back.
