Exporting single channel settings

Hi,

I'd like to export the settings of one channel into another project on another computer. For instance, I'd like to export 1 Omnisphere track with aux settings, EQ, etc. with the midi. I think I found how to import these tracks, but I'm lost on exporting them. Thanks.

Two different ways: you can save it as a Channel Strip Setting, so you can create new tracks with that setting, or you can use the selective track import feature via the Browser.

Thank you both for the advice. My question would be, if I use Selective Track Import how do I get the data from the first computer exported for the second computer to find it? Do I have to export the entire project from the first computer and then import it into the second computer so STI will find the track I want to use? I may not be properly conceptualizing the idea. Thanks again for your help.

if I use Selective Track Import (...) Do I have to export the entire project from the first computer

You could open a new empty project in the first computer, use selective track import to import only the desired data and save this new 'template' project.

Copy that new project onto the 2nd computer, and use selective track import again to import the desired data from that template into your projects.
