kandie
Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone knows how to fix this issue. No matter which software instrument I have enabled there's this lofi-ish snare sound accompanying the original instrument I'm playing. I can't find the reason for why this is happening. I don't have the snare sound elsewhere in my project, like in a sampler etc. Even if it's an empty instrument track, the sound is still there when i trigger the notes. Does anyone know the solution to this?
David Nahmani
What keyboard? How is it connected? If the keyboard is a synth/sampler, make sure it is set to "Local Off". kandie
Axiom 61 with a regular USB cable. I get the same result with the computer keyboard as well. If I play softly/the velocity is low the snare sound is barely audible.
kandie
Ok I just rebooted a second time and the issue seems to be gone for now.
Jordi Torres
Maybe it's a new hidden "feature" in the Duet 2. J.
jsmanness
That sound (if I'm guessing correctly) typically involves scanning, backing-up, or turning on the hard drives. You can fix it by opening the "Audio MIDI Setup" app and changing the sample rate to something else and then changing it back to whatever you need. -Jon
