gloo
Hi...this is my first post. So...I'm trying to use the Yamaha DTXplorer to trigger the drum sounds in Logic 9. I was using the Midisport Uno and it was working, but with some issues...bass drum was triggering snare sounds and Snare triggering hand clap sound. I was messing around with it and reading up, and somewhere along the line the midisport stopped being recognized by Logic. There's no midi signal being picked up in the transport. It's not recognized in the Audio Midi setup menu or in the Environment window. I can't figure it out and have been scratching my head for days as to what went wrong. PLEASE HELP!!!! Eriksimon
Have you inspected/swapped the USB cable? Have you checked the USB connectors? Have you tried simply replugging the interface into a different USB port? Does the interface show any LED lights? Have you tried rebooting your Mac? gloo
I tried rebooting my macbook pro and tried both of the usb ports on my computer. Neither changed anything. I used a standard usb cable to plug my Studiologic keyboard into my computer and that worked fine, but when I tried to use the Midisport Uno with the keyboard, it didn't work and had the same problem as my Dtxplorer. I USB light on the Midisport is blinking and the Midi In light blinks when I hit a pad on the drums, or a key on my midi controller. I'm going to take the Midisport to work tomorrow and see if one of the audio guys can test it out for me. I'll let you know what happens with that. Thanks for the help!
