groovemaker
Hi! I've run into a bit of an annoyance with recording drums in Logic 9. I've recorded audio onto 11 tracks, each of which has 8 takes on it. What i want to be able to do is select a take on all of the tracks at the same time (for example, select take 4 on all tracks). I have tried every logical thing I can think of to do this quickly, but can't seem to manage it. I can select takes on each track individually, but with 11 tracks this is pretty time consuming, and annoying! Is there a way to do this all at once? Cheers Chris
David Nahmani
All you should have to do is group the tracks - have you tried that yet?
groovemaker
Yeah I think so - they're grouped in a folder in the audio bin on the right side of the screen. Is that what you mean? If not how do I group them to be able to do this? Thanks very much Chris

groovemaker
Thanks so much for that! I'd been searching for hours, but I didn't understand about mixer groups, and was searching for the wrong thing. I'm new to this logic/mac world - I've been using cubase/nuendo for years and now have a lot of catching up to do! Thanks again! xgman
Working with Mixer Groups Boy, attention deficit disorder kicks in at about the 2nd paragraph of that manual. Start thinking about everything but Logic.
