How do I record mix output to new track

How can I take the output from my 2bus, essentially my 2 track mix to print and Instead of bouncing, record enable a new track and print the mix output to the new track in real time.

The reason is because bouncing always alters the sound significanlty from actual mix.

When I asked a real mixer with major label credits about this, he stated that no one he knows Ever bounces but instead prints to track then just exports that track. That way what you hear is exactly what you get.

I print bus sends to a track all the time but I want to have the input of my new record enabled track to by my Out 1-2. Sounds simple enough and I've done in PT but haven't been able to in Logic.

Interesting because I have never had any issue with anything changing during a bounce down and I have done many many bounces... with all kinds of different track type, midi, audio, automation and so on, configurations.. and ne'er a problem.

Maybe it's one particular plugin that you use.. that is causing the issues you are having?
