marcusjsavage
HI, As a new user who has been used to Cubase and VST instruments, is there any way to import the loops into a midi channel and then edit/customize them - I'm thinking like Virtual Guitar and Groove Agent? Or how do you customise and edit the loops in Logic? Thanks
Andyreww
Or how do you customise and edit the loops in Logic There's a lot of ways to "edit" loops (Logic or, otherwise). Here's some techniques that may help: Drum Replacement Using Audio to Score: Drum Replacement (Audio Loop - Single Drum): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tldf6Ogqf5o Seperate Midi Event by Note Pitch (I usually create new tracks and copy the new regions to the new tracks - I can then assign whichever instrument I like to the track, mute, solo etc) Hope this helps as a 1st pass - if you can be more specific on the editing you'd like to do I may be able to provide more details...
