Guitar and Drum Loops

HI,

As a new user who has been used to Cubase and VST instruments, is there any way to import the loops into a midi channel and then edit/customize them - I'm thinking like Virtual Guitar and Groove Agent? Or how do you customise and edit the loops in Logic?

There's a lot of ways to "edit" loops (Logic or, otherwise).

Seperate Midi Event by Note Pitch

 

 

(I usually create new tracks and copy the new regions to the new tracks - I can then assign whichever instrument I like to the track, mute, solo etc)
