freeXphoenix
Hi there, how can I collapse a number of tracks into a single track inside of Logic? E.g. I have have 10 drum tracks which have been mixed to achieve a coherent drum sound. Now I want to mix the drums with the rest of the music but without having to adjust the level of each track indiviually. Cubase for example has the possibility to group tracks into a folder. How can I do that in Logic? Thanks for help! Markus
Jordi Torres
Set the output of all your drum channesl to the same (unused) bus. A new Aux channel will be automatically created with that bus as the input. Use this aux channel's fader to adjust the overall level or your drums. J. David Nahmani
And if you mean visually, for organizing, you can select all the regions on the tracks and choose Region > Folder > Pack Folder. You can combine that (visual) technique with Jordito's (signal routing) technique.
