Lengethen out a Sample

so im currently working on a bootleg and wanna know how to lenghten out a sample or drag it out. im using th ultra beat hip hop tech kit sweep bass sound and instead of the quick little bassline it has i wanna drag it out to have a constant bassline for however long i want it. how can this be done

What version of Logic are you using? Please see forum guidelines, item #5 so we can help you better.

 

On to your question.... here's one way.

 

Record the sweep note as a sequence. I'm guessing it'll be a one note sequence.

 

Bounce In Place the result.

 

Flex the resulting audio file

 

Option-Drag the right region boundary till it's as long as you want it.

sorry never knew i had to post stuf like that before

 

logic pro 9 on OSX snow leopard

 

Please put it in your signature so that you only need to do it once! And include the exact version of Logic 9 that you're using (IE Logic 9.1.4 or Logic 9.1.5 for example)

 

im a n00b here how do i access the flex feature?

Sounds to me like you just want to loop your region, not stretch or flex it.
