GCProductions
Hey everyone, I'm in the middle of producing a rap instrumental, and I have a huge idea for the song, but I'm not exactly sure how to make the sound I need. Basically, I need an instrument to sound like it might if you were intoxicated. What I mean is that it drops pitch after being played, and reverbs real hard. I know how to implement the reverb, but how do I do the pitch drop. I do not want to use the "Glide" function in the EXS24, and I do not want to automate the track to drop pitch? Can someone please help me with this? Also, I want to know, is there a way to "reverse" a software instrument without recording the audio and then reversing it? If so, how would I do this on the EXS24 and the ES2? Thanks, GCProductions

fader8
but how do I do the pitch drop. In the router, ES2 or EXS, set up a destination for Pitch, then assign the source to env1. Make sure the amount is set towards negative. Set up the timing in the env1.
