jonnik
Hi Guys We had 2 teams recording audio tracks of a song. By mistake, one of the teams recorded certain tracks (guitar tracks) in a different tempo. How can I adapt/change the tempo of those certain tracks to fit? All the tracks are in audio format. mejon
You can import tracks from one session to the other using 'Import' in the file menu, then navigating to the session and selecting the tracks that you need to import. You first need to make sure that all of the tracks in the other session that you are importing from are flex enabled. This is critical. I've imported multiple tracks from multiple sessions at different tempos this way and it has worked for me. This is all under the assumption that the sessions were recorded to a grid/tempo in Logic. If the sessions are coming from another DAW, then you need to convert them and beat map them in Logic first.

jonnik
Coming from another DAW. How to beatmap, please?
David Nahmani
Were your track and his track both recorded with a click? If yes, and if the track was recorded in Logic 9, you won't have to beatmap. Try just enabling a flex mode for the imported track and see what happens? jonnik
The other track was recorded not in Logic, in Nuendo with a click. Do I still need to flex time enable only?
