CarlosUnderground
I'm finishing an album, I want 4 songs to segue into eatch other, but don't know how to make this clear for the mastering engineer, since he'll be working on PT. Is this my job, or should I leave it to the mastering process?
involver
Perhaps you should discuss this with the mastering engineer? Personally, I would probably want to do the segues myself so that I had full control over the timing etc...
BBBlack
What I've done in the past is set the end marker in my Logic project a few bars before the last few tracks end, and bounce that. Then, I open a new project (the project corresponding to the next song) and then slice and copy the last bits of whatever tracks were cut off in the last project, along with their channel strips and proper settings to this new project. Then, when you have all your stereo files bounced, when you place them in sequence in iTunes (or what have you), they play seamlessly with whatever sort of transitions you created at the beginning of each project.
