JadeMatrix
To begin with, I'm finally experimenting with EVOC 20, specifically the TrackOscillator. I've set up a vocal track as a sidechain to the plugin in a synth track, and I know you can control the synth pitch with played or recorded MIDI. I was wondering if it's possible to grab the pitch from the vocal track using Pitch Corrector and use that to control the synth. Or, would I have to use a third-party plugin such as Melodyne? Audiogrocery
Or, would I have to use a third-party plugin such as Melodyne? You need to make a good audio to score/midi detection and conversion of your source vocal track, so Melodyne is the best tool which can do that. JadeMatrix
The thing is, I would really like this to be real-time; a MIDI-out for the Pitch Corrector would be the perfect solution. Basically I wand to create a fully-automated real-time vocoder 'machine' for sung lyrics.

The programming learning curve is steep and the hardware setup is complex. Not for the faint of heart. It'd be much, much easier to just play a keyboard along with your voice, or trigger a MIDI sequence on cue when you start to sing.
