David Nahmani Posted October 11, 2011 Share Posted October 11, 2011 Any hardware that gives you the sufficient number of I/O will do the job. For example, if you want to mix 5.1, you need 6 outputs. If you want to record surround sources, you need 6 inputs. Examples (depending on your budget) include but are not limited to MOTU 828, RME Fireface, Apogee Symphony I/O, Metric Halo ULN8, Prism ADA8 etc...
