smoulders
Hi there. Does anyone know if it is possible after placing a piece of audio on top of another, to send it to the back so the other piece of audio is on top. If you imagine you have recorded a bit of a take on track one and another bit further down on track 2. You want to simply drag the audio on track 2 up on to track 2 however now some of the audio from track 2 is covering the audio on track 1. Instead of having to grab the handles and trim accordingly is there a way you can send the audio from 2 to the back in a similar way to drawing programs, so that as soon as the audio from track 1 comes to an end the other audio starts playing? Many thanks

smoulders
Sorry for the really late reply. Thanks shivermetimbers. Packing the regions into a take folder was just the ticket. Nice one Nick

Many thanks Yes, that's called "No overlap" and is set in the "Drag" dropdown menu in the upper right corner of the Arrange window. There's also a key command to adjust regions like this if you don't like to be in "No overlap" drag mode.
