You'll need to map the midi signals like a real wizzkid since the learning function doesn't support signals from Logic to the BCR. So you are limited regarding basic functions. Unfortunatly the alternatives are way more expensive. So if you don't want to invest to much, I guess you'll need to do some concessions regarding control options.
