tinpots Posted October 26, 2011 Share Posted October 26, 2011 When i bounce tracks - even single stereo ones - the load meters - both Hd and CPU go into the red - out of the 8 cpu meters only one goes up into the red. It does not seem to be altering performance but just wondered if I need to set something differently? More of an observation than a problem really - not noticed it before and have just updated to 9.1.5 and wondered if that could have something to do with it? I don't see there's a reason to use, say, 50% capacity, and have your offline bounces take twice as long? You want your computer to render it as fast as possible. Only one core is used, because currently, offline bouncing tasks are a single core process and cannot use multiple cores for technical reasons. That may change in the future.
