impulse response utility

hi

i seem to remember an older version of the impulse response utility allowed me to import sounds, both the impulse and then the response into the utility, i dont see this option in the new version. any way of getting around this?

or perhaps to download that older version? many thx

You should be able to do that in any version of the Apple Impulse Response Utility app, since that's the goal of that app, to create your own impulse responses. I suppose that's what you're trying to do, create your own IRs?

Thx for your reply. I'm not sure if i understand you well, or if you understand me well. At the time i used to make recordings just clapping hands in various rooms, halls, using a small hand held recorder. I think i remember then isokating the hand clap before the reverb and using it as an impulse that the utility would therefore cancel for the calcilation of the model. Of course, now icould i imagine still do the same kind of thing selecting pistol shot option and then importing it via external input and therefore re-1ecording the audio file. Thx again.
