I thought it was one of the better instruments in the Logic winds pallet. Not as slushy with the attacks as the clarinet (which is otherwise quite lovely). You might find something at Kirk Hunter. To second camillo's endorsement, I absolutely LOVE Kirk Hunter's bassoon samples. Extremely expressive. The player he had on the session gets a tone that's very "vocal" and overall just lovely. It may not be as "hi fidelity" as some other library's bassoons, but it more than makes up for it in terms of its sheer expressiveness and tone.
