Automate pitch bend on an audio file?

Audio files don't have pitch bend data like MIDI does. The Hyper Editor is a MIDI editor, therefore it can only be used to edit MIDI data.

On an audio track, you could insert a Pitch shifting plug-in (AUPitch is a good one) and use track automation to automate it.

got it, thanks!

I made a track with the EX24 as my input and I copied the audio file to it. There is no sound coming out. Can a file with the EX24 as the instrument take a non-MIDI file and make something out of it? If so, any idea what the issue is here?

Did you proceed as described here? Or perhaps use the audio region conversion procedure?
