pilby
I have a question, Mr. David Nahmani. Because I don't record audio, I skipped your book's Chapters 2 and 3, and I still seem to be doing fine and I'm now in Chapter 5. The thought occurred to me though that some of these loops are audio, so would I need to know what you taught in chapters 2 and 3 to edit these audio loops? Thanks. David Nahmani
The book is meant to be read one chapter after another. If you skip chapters 2 and 3 you could be missing some knowledge in the other chapters. You'll be able to go through the MIDI chapters (4, 5 and 6) just fine, but you may be missing some tools for arranging (Lesson 8). In any case if you are serious about learning Logic I wouldn't skip anything. Everything in the book covers basic knowledge that I feel anyone producing music should understand.
