jrocks4jc
is it a good idea to send an audio signal out of logic/computer into a Neve pre amp with EQ settings to do some eq'ing and then back into logic?
Rev. Juda Sleaze
I don't know, why don't you stick an I/O plugin on the channel strip and see what it sounds like?
jrocks4jc
like just a plain logic eq?
Rev. Juda Sleaze
I meant use the I/O (Input/Output) plugin to route the channel to your Neve and back into Logic, then see if you like the sound. Check the external effects section of the Logic manual: http://documentation.apple.com/en/logicpro/usermanual/index.html#chapter=10%26section=12%26tasks=true

No problem, post back if you have any problems. Best way to find out if it's a good idea is to try it out!
mwproject
If you have good converters it'll sound great. Probably not worth it with most "prosumer" converters as you could lose some depth, etc. Make sure the Neve's preamp section is set to line.
