Pete
I have tried tracking using the i/o plug-in with external effects and while the monitored sound is treated and sounds good -- the effect doesn't get recorded to into the audio file along with it... What am I doing wrong?
Eric Cardenas
Nothing wrong! Nothing you insert on a Audio Channel Strip will get rendered into the file. That goes for plug-ins too.
Rev. Juda Sleaze
If you want the effects printed to an audio file, do a real-time bounce.
Pete
Thank you Eric & Rev. This was a bit of a surprise... had kind of hoped I was doing something wrong to avoid the extra step - but bouncing is so simple now in LP9 it ain't no thang If you want the effects printed to an audio file, do a real-time bounce. You can. Insert the I/O plug-in into an Input Channel Strip instead. You must create this one in the environment. Good luck!
