Lazarusexp
Just wondering. Is there any quick way to find out if an AU plugin in Logic is 24 bit fixed point as opposed to 32 bit floating point? I know all of Logic plugins are 32 but I would like to find out which one of my 3rd party plugins aren't. Can this be done from within Logic or do I have to go to all my 3rd party venders for this info? Thanks!
Eric Cardenas
The bitcrusher in logic is actually not 32-bit floating. There is no way to see this with in logic but it should not be hard to test just by cranking up the gain before the plug-in and then down with the same amount right after it.
