Thinking about revisiting it and looking for feedback, in terms of mix, arrangement, etc. There was a heavy dose of goofery in the studio as I wrote and performed the song so I'm probably going to go back and redo some vocals, etc. Or I might just keep it for what it is and move on Is goofery a word? lotionsandoils Posted November 25, 2011 Share Posted November 25, 2011 "and the ice cream melts and your shows come off." is a great line. one suggestion: a lot of your synths and sounds are real or based on real things, so that synth lead that comes in around the 2:00 mark seems like an odd choice to me. possibly try doing the same melody (cause it's a fine one) on guitar with bluesy gain.
