capt7
I have 3 different drum patterns , I want to be able to bounce them so I can send them to my friend ( who’s using garageband ) , every time I 'export as audio file' I try to make them wav or aiff files and I get no sound from them...P.S. the drum patterns are from ultrabeat..Kinda stumped.. David Nahmani
When you play the patterns in the Arrange area, you can hear them just fine? How do you export (which menu?) and what are your export settings?
capt7
yes when I play them I do hear them ...as far as exporting them I hi light a drum pattern *ctrl right click * then “export as audio file"
David Nahmani
Are you using Ultrabeat as a multi-output insert?

David Nahmani
Then that must be it. You could use Track > Bounce Track in Place, which can take care of your multi-outputs. Otherwise, manually solo the desired channel strips in your Mixer, and bounce. Although I just tried it, and it works here, unless the specific Aux channel strip(s) is/are muted. But then you couldn't play the region in the Arrange area?
capt7
I’m on logic 8 I don’t have the darn bounce in place option..my solution is I muted everything except the drums I wanted to bounce and just did a regular bounce to mp3 and sent it to him
