sombrita7
Just got a new macbook air 13" with 256 GB of storage and logic pro 9. I want to use it for composing/recording small projects (24 tracks max). Should I put the whole thing on my computer's hard drive or should i put the loops on an external thunderbolt drive? Thanks in advance for your support . . .
triplets
You want to save your projects to an external drive (not USB). The samples on the external is optional. If you have room on your HD, put it there.
sombrita7
Thanks! I assume by (not usb) you mean something faster. If i put everything on computer hd i should have about 150 GB remaining space. I'll start with that and see how things go. Thanks again. . . triplets
You can start with a FW800 drive to save your projects to, it's fast enough and way cheaper than Thunderbolt.
