fisherking
i keep a lot of hidden trax in my mixes, generally alternate vocal takes, etc. trying to clean things up! so..i unhide the trax, delete the regions and tracks. then i go in to the bin, and delete unused. CLEAN UP is greyed out on my Logic Project menu. but the audio files are still on my drive. how do i delete audio from a logic file, AND have it deleted from my hard drive? (am sure i'm missing something simple...)
camillo jr
The Bin's Edit menu only deletes locally, from the song. Bin > Audio File > Delete will delete it from the drive. It's handy to have both.
triplets
It's a shame that Clean Up doesn't take care of that a 100% Sometimes when you want to really clean up a project it leaves those files. Right now I think the only way is to Consolidate Project.
fisherking
took some time, and CARE, but just deleted about 10gigs of unused audio from my mac (i DO have the original files on another drive, just in case). but checked everything out carefully. had to manually delete a lot of files (using a snapshot image of the USED files to compare). 8)
