mattsvoice
Hey there, Can anyone pls. tell me if it's possible to add for ex. :XX sec silence in front of a track, before the audio begins....apart from physically dragging it? And is it possible to multi-select 20 tracks and do this? Thanks as always..
elik
What's wrong with physically dragging in the arrange window? Why not set your bar ruler to display time code, hold down control and shift to move freely from the grid, and place the files xx seconds later as needed? You can also do them all at once this way. mattsvoice
Hi Elik, The thing is I need to have 2 sec of silence before the audio begins. It's fine if it's for 1 or 2 tracks but if I need to do it for 30...not so much. I tried Ctrl>Shift but that didn't work.
David Nahmani
I tried Ctrl>Shift but that didn't work. Did you try the link provided by Shivermetimbers? Unless I'm misunderstanding the question, that should answer it.
mattsvoice
I did look at the link but to my understanding, that just adds dead silence before the audio begins before doing a bip. When I bip that track I won't get the 2 sec. of recorded silence. The audio begins right away as it was initially recorded. Sorry, but does that make sense to anyone?.. triplets
Do you do a BIP on the Track menu or the Region menu? Track will always bounce from the beginning. Region always whatever you select.
mattsvoice
triplets... Actually, as I'm am usually doing 20 or more tracks, I do File>Export All Tracks As Audio Tracks. I shouldn't have said bip in my previous post, sorry.
