Charlemagne
Just upgraded to 9.1.6 and running 64 bit, but I'm noticing if I try to add an insert or an instrument, it doesn't show 32 bit plugins at all? They aren't even in the AU Manager even though the components are in the directory on my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! beej
Try running Logic in 32-bit mode, checking the plugins are validated ok, then switching back to 64-bit mode. Work now?
alkali
thanks for that beej...they seem to have fixed a lot of old plugin compatibility issues that crashed me before with Guitar Rig
Charlemagne
Awesome - that worked! Thanks a lot beej! For some reason, Altiverb 6 and FAW Circle synth (demo) failed validation though...
n6smith
Altverb 6 fails but usually still works normally.... They are supposed to release a fix for this issue shortly. Did it not work on yours even though it failed? Circle is a nightmare.... I haven't managed to get it to work on any of my setups yet...
Charlemagne
I thought if it failed it didn't show up in the plugin list? I didn't check - maybe it is there...I'll try it. Circle was validating fine in 9.1.5 and Snow Leopard, but I made the jump to Lion and 9.1.6 this weekend...caused a handful of issues, should've known better.
