dsw67
When launching Logic 9 the application keeps freezing at the point where it's checking midi drivers. I'm running a brand new Mac Book Pro with Lion with an Apogee Gio. I have the latest version of the Gio software (July 11) so I'm not sure what to do. Everything was working fine until today. n6smith
This looks like an issue between your Apogee drivers and the new Logic 9.1.6 update that you just installed.. You might have to wait until updated drivers are released... as there does not appear to be a way of going back to 9.1.5 unless you kept a copy in your backups? If you did, then just copy back over the 9.1.5 version of your Logic app and you should be fine until newer Apogee drivers are released.
Jordi Torres
I think you should just restart your computer (to take care of the "MIDI Timeout", which simply means Core MIDI wasn't able to start up correctly). As for the other message, just repeat what David instructed in your other thread: Device "Gio" is assigned to MIDI Port "Port 1" J.
