Comping Audio Regions with Multiple Tracks

Hi all--

 

Forgive me if this was posted/answered before. Searched and didn't find anything.

 

I have an acoustic guitar that I'd like to record using two inputs--the DI in the guitar and with a mic.

 

I can't wrap my mind around how to record multiple takes and then comp the best performance (using Logic's Take Folder feature) because two inputs are involved; if each input is going to a separate track, how can I create a single comp take from two folders at the same time?

 

What is the best way to accomplish this?

 

I don't necessarily want to record both inputs to the same stereo track, but if that's the only way to do this then so be it.

 

This should be easy but I am missing something...
