Brandon Freeman
Hello, there, As the title says, I just upgraded Logic via the Apple Store, and seem to have had all the stock orchestral samples deleted upon installing the additional content. I am attempting to reinstall the additional content right now. Has anyone else experienced this? If the reinstall fails, how do I get those samples back? Rev. Juda Sleaze
how do I get those samples back? From the Logic 8 disks. I believe people here recommend using Pacifist (it's free): http://www.charlessoft.com/

Rev. Juda Sleaze
If anyone can confirm what gets deleted when you install 9.1.6 from the App Store with Logic 8 already installed, I'd be very grateful.

Hi Did you download and install the Jampack Symphony Orchestra Content (Instruments) ? CCT I did. My checklist says all are installed. I am currently re-installing the content to see if there was some kind of error. From the Logic 8 disks. Fortunately, I've got them here on my desk, if need be. n6smith
Sometimes re-indexing Spotlight will fix this issue...
Brandon Freeman
Re-installing the Jam Packs did nothing. Going back to the Logic 8 disks to get my orchestra patches from there, good thing I'm not on Lion yet... HANG ON... Logic seems to be loading them up now even though I can't find them in the finder... I seem to still be missing the studio drum kits, though... reinstalling those... Sorry, all, hopefully my drama isn't too painful to follow, I just figured it would help anyone else hitting up something similar. I did notice that yesterday I had to reinitiate the content downloads several times, as I kept getting download errors.
n6smith
HANG ON... Logic seems to be loading them up now even though I can't find them in the finder... You have to give Spotlight time to index them... so Logic can find them...
