GabrielWolff Posted January 1, 2012 Share Posted January 1, 2012 I am performing a piece with LP9. Several tracks are prerecorded and I play over them. In he middle of the piece I have 16 bars of impro, divided in 4x4. I want these bars to act like a loop machine, so bar 1-4: I play bar 5-8: I hear what I played in 1-4 and play over it bar 9-12: I hear what I played in bar 1-4 and what I played in bar 5-8 and I play over that. So a typical loop station behavior. After 16 bars I need the loop to stop, so I can continue playing the piece. Is that possible? G Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One for bar 1-4.............copy and paiste it for bars 5 thru 12. One for bar 5-8.............copy and paiste it for bars 9 thru 12. One for bar 9-12.......... That's what I have done so far and in fact this is the effect I want. Thing is - I want to do it improvised and live, so on stage. Is there a way to automatically copy/paste whatever I'll record on bar 1-4 to bars 5-8, while playing? Or immigrate the loopback option from mainstage to LP9?
