triplets
Happened to me with Autotune. Had to reduce Undo Steps to 5 in Logic Preferences to rescue the project. Also bypassed all instances of Autotune except the one I was working on. Also happens when you have too many audio edits, take folders and regions. Try to consolidate some of them. Eriksimon
It may help to quit and set Logic to 64 bit mode (if you haven't already). Even on 4 GB RAM Macs this can solve/alleviate this problem, I'd guess it would do so even more on 6 GB Macs... On 4 GB Macs the project may well get very sluggish after that though, since OS X has to page in and out a lot of RAM contents when you are using all of or even more than the 4 GB of installed RAM. If you push it too far you may get bogged down/frustrated by frequent beachballing. Just disclaiming... Your 6 GB should give you enough extra to not see this problem (unless you upsize your project even more so that it also reaches your limits of 6 GB) The ultimate solution is to offload as much memory as needed, by bouncing sampled instruments to audio and deleting their original tracks. For 4 GB Maccers: the even ultimater solution is to up your RAM from 4 to 8 GB. For the OP: going to 10 or 12 GB RAM may be worth considering.
