rakewell
Hi all, My first post I'm having an annoying issue when editing in the matrix editor. I set the regions width the entire length of the song regardless of how much content is in the region. When copying and pasting notes in the matrix editor the end of the region will automatically resize to the end of the last pasted note. Can I stop logic doing that? I want the length of the regions to be unchanged when pasting. thanks, tom.
David Nahmani
I have the same behavior here. Seems like it might be a bug. Sorry!
ski
I've rather enjoyed this behavior. (As they say, one man's bug is another man's feature!) To prevent this from occurring, enter a dummy event (text or a musical symbol of some kind) from within the score editor at bar 1 and another at the end of the last bar. Their presence will prevent the region from resizing after pasting in new material.
David Nahmani
Good, easy workaround - thanks ski.
rakewell
Thanks for your replies David and Ski, I was thinking that it might be more a 'feature' than a bug and there might be a setting to disable it. I'll go for the event at the end of the son to get my project happy. Thanks.
