using flex time issue

Hi.

what about the differens between sample rate of the project and the loop? I found it difficult to use this tool when, you know, your project is 48 kHz and loops are 44,1 kHz, logic automaticaly converts loops to 48 kHz, so the tone becomes upper, so I have to bounce loop first =\ could you please suggest me the better method. thanks

First of all, there should be no issues with Apple loops, so I'm going to assume by "loops" you actually mean regular audio files and not Apple loops.

Still, I'm afraid you have this backward: if Logic was converting the loops to 48 kHz and your project is 48 kHz, you would hear them in their original pitch and speed. If you hear them pitched up and sped up, that's because Logic did not convert them, so the 44.1 kHz are playing at 48 kHz = too fast.

To make sure Logic converts them when importing them, make sure you save your project with the default asset settings (copy external audio files to project folder), THEN import the loops. Logic should automatically convert them.

I saved the project with the default asset settings

I'm talking about all kinds of loop, apple loops and other. When I drag apple loop to the arrange window and try flex tool it sounds piched up and speed up, but if I bounce it first and then drag it to arrange everything Is fine.

Another thing I want to say, if you would try to convert region from 44,1 kHz to 48kHz (audio/convert regions to new audio files) you would hear piched up loop as a result. Thats why I thought logic converts it automatically with flex tool enabled. Try It yourself)
