stsao
is there a way to listen to only one direction in a mix, like from the 2 to 3 o'clock area? pretty much like listening to a specific EQ spectrum. I want to ensure, for example, my bass is consistent from left to right and i'm wondering if there's a tool that does anything similar. thanks! Rev. Juda Sleaze
Well, unless you're working in surround, a stereo channel will only be outputting left and right information, so listening to clock directions will be of little help. You can use the pan pot to adjust the balance of stereo channels, so just flip that hard right and left. The channel meter will show volume of left and right, if you want more detail you could use the multimeter. If you want to analyse frequency content of left and right, you could output to a bus with Channel EQ. If you really want your bass to be consistent between left and right, use a mono bass.
