Can't find Komplete 8 plug-ins in Logic Pro 9

I recently purchased an iMac, Logic Pro 9, and Komplete 8 as the cornerstone of my project studio. After installing all of the software however, I was unable to find the Komplete 8 suite of instruments anywhere within reason. I have not been able to find a thread anywhere that addresses my specific problem. Under effects inserts, I am able to access various Native Instruments products such as Absynth 5 FX, FM8 FX, Guitar Rig 5 FX, etc. Also the entire Komplete 8 suite appears in the audio units manager as validated and enabled. I am very new to Logic and feel as if I'm going insane trying to figure out this problem. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get :)

Load the rest of them from the instrument slot of a software instrument channel strip:

have you switched to 32 bit Logic mode to do the au scan there first and then back to 64 bit mode? Other than that, the "instruments" are under Native Instruments/Kontakt 5 if you installed them. Either they are in the Kontakt library or you have to "add library" and direct to the location of the Libraries themselves on your drive.

That's only true for Kontakt instruments.

Absynth, FM8, Massive, Battery & Reaktor do not need Kontakt
