clintoncole
Do people do this? And why? I think I've ran in to some songs that have and I'm confused now lol. For some reason it was engraved in my head that you must end your melody on a bar. (I'm talking bar 1, bar 2, bar 3 etc, not bar 1 1/4) For example isn't this lead melody 1 2/4 bar's long? Any spots you SHOULDN'T end your melody on? (probably always a even number if you go in to the fractions right? so it always ends up back on a bar)
clintoncole
Oops, suppose to go in tech questions, how did I end up here? Would move it if I could, sorry David !
David Nahmani
This actually goes in the "We Are Artists" forum. There really isn't any rule, you can end your melody just about wherever you want that sounds good to you!
