can't clear recent menu list

Running Logic Pro 9 on OSX Lion 10.7.3:

I assume this is a preference issue but I can't figure it out

I'm able to clear the "open recent sessions" menu - but when I re-open Logic, the old list/menu returns????

AND Logic reverts to asking if I want to reopen the same OLD session (I do have the general preference set to "ask")

I've deleted the logic pref file (.plist) but the problem still exists

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

This are the files you need to get rid of when using Lion:

    - com.apple.logic.pro.cs

    - com.apple.logic.pro.LSSharedFileList.plist

    - com.apple.logic.pro.LSSharedFileList.plist.lockfile

    - com.apple.logic.pro.plist

    - com.apple.logic.pro.plist.Lockfile

I think the information you want to reset resides inside of the LSSharedFileList preference.

Also make sure to delete the lock file for the two .plist file.

You can ignore the .cs file in this case. It holds the behavior and assigning of your control surfaces.
