logic only goes to 63 and 64 on each side vs. 100 on either side in pro tools and/or cubase 6! how and where is logic's full range panning...

slamthecrank is correct - at least about the part after the three dots. So disregard anything about what slamthecrank posts about ignoring me.

 

The numbers are totally irrelevant because they can be made to display in many different ways that still remain irrelevant to panning.

 

You have dead center, hard left/right, and then somewhere in between. The only useful purpose an assigned number would be good for is to reference a setting for comparison or for later use such as a recall.

 

Having the Logic developers change the numbers will have absolutely no affect on how the 'balance' knob functions. So slamming/cranking the pan knob hard left will still be hard left whether the number was 1000, 100, 0, or -64.
