hi there

I am new to the forum and I am learning Logic.

Since upgrading to OS X I have experienced massive issues with using Logic 9 when it was working perfectly before.

1. my CPU levels have gone insanely high

2. I have latency issues and I am using an Apogee Ensemble brand new

3. and here comes the big one

error while trying to synchronise Audio and MIDI

Sample rate 42379 recognised

check conflict between Logic and external device

Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with these issues?

I am going to the Apple store tomorrow and if I find out any answers I will post them here

This indicates an issue with your audio interface driver. Make sure you install the latest driver compatible with your new OS X version?

It's better if you edit your profile to add all your system info, audio interface etc... to your signature: Forum Rules - please READ THIS before posting (#5)

You should check in AudioMIDI setup (found in utilities folder) - the Ensemble should show up there. You will be able to verify the sample rate there - it needs to be the same as your project. May not be the problem, but worth checking.
