jonnyrace Posted June 17, 2012 Share Posted June 17, 2012 Hello 2 problems. First, Mainstage is forgetting my assignments - specifically the record button for Loopback. Secondly, after I have everything working, the Loopback controls stop working when I add a Playback plugin on a new channel strip. After this, they just don't work anymore! I open up my concert, and the Record button for my Loopback is not assigned. So I re-assign it. Everything works fine and dandy, then I save, close and reopen the concert and it's not assigned again!!! Sooo frustrating. I am not impressed at all with Mainstage 2 - so glitchy. I went and bought a Behringer FCB1010 to use with this but I think I may have just wasted a load of money and time as the software itself is practically useless. I am using Macbook (2007) 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 3GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. I am running Mac OS X 10.6.8 Please help! Jonny Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TREATMENT Posted June 18, 2012 Share Posted June 18, 2012 YIKES! I am surprised that you haven't thrown your Mac through an open window.... Only hazarding a guess here.... Have you thought about examining your Mac? I have not at all had this problem with ANY version of Mainstage. Like you, I would hesitate to use it if this was the typical response, but I am inclined to believe that there is something else mysteriously at play.
