dezzo
Hi all I'm currently playing around with a sample that has bass, drums, etc, but there's also a lead guitar, which could be distracting when I put vocals over it. I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips for trying to "muffle" the lead guitar, without muffling the whole track? I've tried using the Chanel EQ plugin, but it doesn't work so well. I'm no expert on these types of things, so any help would be greatly appreciated! I have the Waves bundle if that would help, but not sure which one to try?! David Nahmani
There's most probably not much you can do - or at least not much you can do that's not going to ruin the sample. If the lead guitar is panned in the center, then you could try this trick: Separate Beat and Vocals
dezzo
Hi David Thanks for your help, as always! I went through those tutorials, including the center plugin. Listening to the guitar, seems like it's panned all the way to both sides, so not much hope for removing it! Think it will be OK anyways if I play with some vocal effects. Thanks again
