I know that they now sell logic as a digital download in the app store but you can also find the boxed academic version for the same price. I don't think that I'll ever use mainstage but waveburner seems like something that I would use... And in the app store, do they also give you the possibility to download the 3 artist songs? My reasoning is that if Apple were feeling generous they may, I repeat may release the next major update of Logic as a free upgrade for existing App store Logic 9 customers.
