rupak
hello hello, i have a bunch of custom made sounds on my logic 8 where instruments were made from es2, ultrabeat, sculpture etc....now i want to import these custom made sounds into logic 9. Is it just as simple as copy and paste the file from the logic 8 folder into the equivalent folder of logic 9? Kind regards, Rupak
David Nahmani
Are you talking about plug-in and channel strip settings? Logic 9 and Logic 8 use the same folder for those. If Logic 9 is installed on the same system drive as Logic 8, then both should be able to access the same settings and there is no need for you to import anything. If you're trying to transferring your settings from one system drive to another system drive, then yes, copy and paste the files in the equivalent folder of the new drive.
