panerathehealer
I have a song that starts in 4/4 and later changes to 6/8. I want to make the 6/8 measures count as if the two sets of three eighteenth notes behave as two sets of triplets. I understand that you can't change tempo this way in Logic, but I want the tempo to go from one quarter note = one beat to one dotted quarter note = one beat. Is there a more efficient way of making this happen than simply changing the tempo in the middle of the song? If not, how do you insert tempo changes? Beer Moth
Logic doesn't do dotted quarter note beats, unfortunately, but you could just continue in 2 or 4/4 and use triplets. If you want 6 or 12/8 in the time sig you could do a seperate save for the notation or adjust the tempo in the Tempo track.
panerathehealer
This is sort of tedious and I'll have to rewrite the whole triplet section into 6/8 when I go to print out the sheet music, but it'll do to get the sound I want. Thanks for your help!
Beer Moth
Won't this do? Not too tedious...
