michaelhuisman
Sylenth 1 for free? Great synth but I don't think it's available for free that I know of. The official install works correctly on a Mac, and Logic doesn't use VSTs, but AUs. Hope this helps you.
Jordi Torres
I think maybe probably means Synth1, which is free and available for Mac as a VST. But as michaelhuisman said, Logic doesn't support VST plug-ins, only Audio Units plug-ins (AU). J.
maybe
yeah i said synth1 sorry. i'm idiot... then you mean synth1 can't used in logic?
Jordi Torres
then you mean synth1 can't used in logic? You can't use it in Logic...unless: You use something to "convert" VST's to AU's, or use an AU plug-in that serves as a plug-in host for VST's. Here's a free VST to AU "adapter": https://github.com/sethk/VSTAU J.
