musicguy7
So I have audio technica ath-m50 plugged into a tc electronic desktop konnekt 6, and when listening via the headphones in Logic and iTunes, the output volume was noticeably lower a "notch" relative to what it originally was at the same knob positions. Really confused what would be causing this? It may actually be the mid and high frequencies that are lower, because the bass still seems to come through on the headphones fine... David Nahmani
How weird. Did you try using a different set of headphones? Trying to see whether the culprit is the headphones themselves or the earlier in the signal chain.
musicguy7
Actually don't have another pair of phones to readily test it but will try it...thing is I noticed the main outputs to my studio monitors is also lower in volume, could something in the interface be damaged that would affect both the main output and headphone circuitry?? David Nahmani
Yes, or it could be a setting in your audio interface's software?
